Laura Vryghem earned a bilingual bachelor’s degree from the Université Saint-Louis and the KU Leuven, followed by a master’s degree in law with a major in private law from the KU Leuven, where she graduated in 2021. To deepen her expertise in private law, she then pursued a post-master’s degree in notarial law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

She began her career as a lawyer at the Bar of Leuven in 2022. Since February 2025, she has been working at the law firm Arnaud Gillard Avocats and is a lawyer at the Dutch-speaking Bar of Brussels.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Laura Vryghem is also an assistant at the KU Leuven at the Institute for Family and Juvenile Law, where she contributes to student education and academic research in family and juvenile law.
